Department of Logic, IPhRAS

Department of Logic at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences is a leading reasearch instituition in the field of philosophical logic in Russia. The department is closely affiliated with Devision of Logic of Department of Philosophy at the Moscow State University, a leading educational institution in philosophical logic in Russia.

The head of Department is Alexander S. Karpenko.

Department publishes two major publications on philosophical logic in Russia - annual Logical Investigations, published in Russian, and on-line Logical Studies, published partly in Russian and partly in English.

Department hosts a Research Seminar on Logic organised colloboratively with Devision of Logic of Department of Philosophy at the Moscow State University.
